In May, Mike Tyson experienced a serious health crisis. During a flight from Miami to Los Angeles, he began vomiting blood and lost consciousness.
Coming here from Miami on the plane, I went to the bathroom, and I threw up blood. Next thing I know I’m on the floor and I was defecating tar, the legendary boxer told "The Sun".
After being taken to the hospital, doctors diagnosed a two-inch stomach ulcer that was bleeding.
I asked the doctor if I'm going to die and she didn't say no, she said 'we have options, though' and that's when I got nervous, the boxer admitted.
The new date for Mike Tyson's fight
The fight planned for November with Jake Paul has been rescheduled. The new date is November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. Tyson must undergo examinations by the Texas licensing commission to receive approval for a professional fight.
Despite health issues, Tyson remains determined. "I just wanted to get out of that f(...)ng hospital bed. I don't want to die in a hospital bed. I want to die in the ring," he said firmly.
For the first time in history, the fight will be broadcast live on Netflix.
