Since joining Inter Miami, Leo Messi has been met with the admiration of American fans. It’s no surprise that almost all the time he is accompanied by a bodyguard, who recently once again demonstrated alertness and quick response after the Saturday game featuring the star. However, this time the whole story ended with a happy ending for the fan as well.
Leo Messi's transfer to Inter Miami has caused a sensation amongst American fans. However, the Argentinian player suffered a muscle injury in September, which prevented him from participating in several of his team's games, and many fans were eager for his return to the field.
This occurred on Saturday during a home match of Inter Miami against the Cincinnati team. It turned out that the presence of the famous Argentinian did not help the team from Miami. Inter lost this match 0:1 and ultimately lost their chance to participate in the MLS playoffs, which effectively means the end of the club season for Messi and his colleagues.
Even though it wasn't Messi's best performance, many fans still wanted to express their admiration for him. A video went viral on the internet, featuring Yassine Chueko, a private security guard of the brilliant player.
After the match, Messi was walking around the pitch under the watchful eye of his entourage. At one point, a teenage fan appeared on the stadium field, who ran towards the Argentine.
And here Chueko stepped into action, who had already shown his effectiveness before. Seeing the boy running up, he immediately stood between him and Messi and pulled him a safe distance from his boss.
Despite Chueko's quick reaction, the fan still fulfilled his dream. Leo Messi called the security guard over and allowed the teenager to take a selfie, and then signed the boy's shirt. It's worth noting Chueko's behavior - even when Messi was taking a picture with a fan, the security guard kept holding the teenager by the arm to be able to react quickly in case of an unexpected attack.
Chueko once again proved on Saturday that he knows his job like few others. It must be admitted, Messi hired the perfect bodyguard. In the past, his bodyguard served in the American army and also trained in various martial arts, with MMA at the forefront. The skills acquired in this way certainly also find use in protecting one of the most famous football players in the history of soccer.
