On Wednesday, May 22, Mercedes-AMG surprised everyone by presenting the limited edition Mythos PureSpeed model. This unique design draws inspiration from vintage Formula 1 cars.

It looks peculiar, but it will stand out. Limited to 250 units, the Mythos PureSpeed grabs attention with its sleek front, lack of a windshield, and a substantial roll bar behind the driver and passenger's heads. It's easy to see that it is based on the SL model, though it also has some elements from the Mercedes-AMG One hypercar.

Brand representatives boast that their latest creation offers the most direct driving pleasure possible, as neither a roof nor a windshield separates the driver from the elements.

Mercedes is not revealing details regarding the powertrain. However, a 4.0-liter V8 from the SL63 model, the largest engine in the manufacturer's lineup, can be suspected of having been used here.

Only 250 units aimed at the biggest Mercedes enthusiasts and collectors are planned for production. Prices remain unknown, though it can be assumed that clients selected for purchase will not have an issue with it.
