Lately, celebrities have been exploring the weight loss effects of Ozempic, a drug initially approved for diabetes treatment. Its ability to significantly curb appetite has led people looking to shed extra pounds to use it as a weight loss supplement.

This medication's widespread but discreet use among stars is often not discussed publicly. However, breaking the silence on this matter, the legendary American pop culture figure Barbra Streisand directly addressed a fellow actress's drastic change in appearance, hinting at an unnatural body transformation.

Barbra Streisand questions Melissa McCarthy's use of Ozempic

Melissa McCarthy, best known for her role in "Bridesmaids," has publicly shared her weight loss journey after years of struggle, proudly announcing a loss of 77 pounds. At a recent film gala, her stunning, slimmer figure was displayed in a mint dress and blazer, accompanied by her friend, Adam Shankman. Here, Streisand, recognizing Shankman and surprised by McCarthy's transformation, inquired about the use of Ozempic in a comment.

"Give him my regards. Did you take Ozempic?" she commented unexpectedly.

Streisand's remark, though quickly deleted, sparked immediate backlash from internet users.
McCarthy has stayed silent on the speculation about her using the drug designed for diabetics and did not reply to Streisand's invasive question.
