During Thursday's debate, Melania Trump broke a decades-long tradition by not supporting her husband. In contrast, Jill Biden was a rock for her husband, the president. The Republican candidate's team remains silent on the issue of the former first lady’s involvement.

On Thursday, a presidential debate took place in Atlanta, Georgia. Joe Biden, as usual, could count on his wife's support. That day, the first lady showcased her style in a blue outfit consisting of a long blazer, ankle-length trousers, and a satin blouse. The 73-year-old's ensemble was complemented by blue heels, gold brooches, and silver jewelry.

After the speeches ended, Jill went on stage and hugged and kissed her husband. The president did not fare well during the debate, as was evident from his difficulties in articulating himself.

In contrast, Melania Trump broke a decades-long tradition and did not accompany her husband during the debate. The Republican candidate had to savor his "victory" alone. It is worth noting that the former first lady’s behavior was unprecedented. Until now, Donald's beloved had supported him during all the debates in the 2016 and 2020 election campaigns.

Families started regularly participating in debates as early as 1976. It would be quite shocking if a candidate's wife broke this tradition - said presidential historian Dr. Lindsay Chervinsky, as quoted by the Daily Mail.

According to the tabloid's findings, even if Trump wins the election, Melania will not live permanently in the White House. The Republican candidate's wife is allegedly going to travel between Washington, Palm Beach, and New York, where her 18-year-old son is starting college.
