Three years later, Mel Gibson's wife filed for divorce when the world learned about the actor's affair with Oksana Grigorieva, 14 years his junior. The relationship with the Russian pianist and singer ended in a huge scandal when she revealed recordings in which the star threatened her with death, insulted, and abused her. I know what it’ll be like if we let her in and that ain’t good. Miserable track record – appalling track record. No policies to speak of. And she’s got the IQ of a fence post."
This statement once again brings trouble to the actor. In the American media, he faced criticism. It's not about who Gibson will vote for, and supporters of Donald Trump in Hollywood are indeed a minority. Unfortunately, the star echoed one of Trump's insults in his election campaign. In speeches, he repeatedly questioned his opponent's intelligence in an offensive manner, which also garnered criticism from some Republican Party supporters.
