Meghan Markle's heartfelt support for Oprah at Summerland event

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are building their life across the ocean and can always count on their famous friends. So it's no surprise that the Duchess attended an event to support Oprah Winfrey, who is her good friend personally. Isn't it nice of her?

Since leaving the ranks of the royal family, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been looking for a way to live across the ocean. Although it seemed their media career in the States would take off, the opposite happened. In good times and bad, though, they can count on the support of famous friends.

One of the Sussexes' friends is, of course, Oprah Winfrey. It was to her that they gave the memorable interview that the media worldwide wrote about, which already means something. So it's no surprise that Meghan also publicly supported the American "queen of talk shows" whenever the opportunity arose.

A special meeting was held at the Goodmothers bookstore in Summerland, where, in addition to Oprah, several other well-known figures appeared. Among the attendees were Marco Leone, Dr. Jennifer Freed, and Laura Lynne Jackson. Their Instagram posts reveal that Meghan also showed up.

Prince Harry's wife was photographed with a microphone in her hand, addressing a few words to those gathered. The mentioned personalities also captured the moment when Markle exchanged hugs with other event participants and then listened intently to what her famous friend had to say. We hope Oprah appreciated this gesture.

Moreover, as reported by the Daily Mail, Harry's biography was especially showcased in the Goodmothers bookstore, placed in the "hometown heroes" section. This is quite an interesting decision since the ex-royal spent most of his life in the United Kingdom and has only recently been living in California. And all this, as the mentioned site reminds, on the second anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's death.
