Megan Fox reveals motherhood changed her views on Hollywood roles
Until recently, Megan Fox was considered one of the sexiest women in the world, captivating audiences with her scantily clad, provocative photos and films. However, her life stance has begun to change in recent years.

"That (motherhood - ed.) kind of saved me honestly. I needed an escape. Prior to becoming a mom, I was lost. I was so lost and trying to understand, like, how am I supposed to feel value or find purpose in this horrendous, patriarchal, misogynistic hell that was Hollywood at the time?" the actress said in an interview with the "Washington Post."
Megan Fox had her first child, Noah Shannon Green, at the age of 26 in 2012. In subsequent years, he was joined by Bodhi Ransom (2014) and Journey River (2016). The marriage of the "Transformers" star and actor Brian Austin Green ("Beverly Hills 90210"), who is 12 years older, lasted 12 years. The couple divorced in 2022.
Now that she is a mom, she doesn't see herself in any graphic scenes in her professional future. "I don’t think my children should ever see me doing some of that stuff. I don’t think my boys could handle that. They can’t separate the experience from the reality from the art. It gets very confusing when it’s your own mother," Megan Fox warned in an interview.
The actress admitted that in recent years, she had to turn down many offers to play in projects that, in her opinion, contained excessively bold scenes. "There are some good projects I've read that are with talented people, talented directors, but the things the women are required to do in the movie are things I can't have my sons ever know or see," the actress continued.
"I was offered a project that's coming out on HBO that centres around the life of a prostitute, and it has very graphic scenes... and those are things that are degrading to the woman who's playing the character," summarized Megan Fox, who was recently seen in the fourth part of "The Expendables."
