Be aware that many reports coming from Russian or Belarusian media or government officials may be forms of propaganda. These reports are components of the information war waged by the Russian Federation.

The "Dictation of Victory," a historical-patriotic event, commenced for the sixth time on Friday. It aims to commemorate the achievements of the Soviet people. On this occasion, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Head of Russia's Security Council, conveyed a special message to the event's participants.

Medvedev: Russia's battle against Nazism

Russia is combating modern-day fascists on the battlefield and countering attempts by some to alter history with "vile lies" that seek to tarnish the reputation of real heroes, Medvedev asserted in a message to the dictation's participants, as reported by the Russian agency TASS.

It's not the first time Medvedev has made striking comments. He recently proclaimed that Moscow is engaged in a fight against Nazism. "Today, we are once again engaged in a decisive battle against Nazism, combating the new fascists on the battlefield with weapons at the ready, resolutely and without compromise fighting back against those who attempt to rewrite history with vile lies, those who seek to dishonor the real heroes while glorifying villains, executioners, and murderers. We will not permit this," he stated in his address.

Medvedev mentioned that participants join the campaign driven by a "call of the soul, pride, and immense gratitude". "The enemy shall not pass; victory will be ours," he emphatically declared.
