The verdict, as reported by Deadline, was decided by a panel of six judges after four hours of deliberation spread over three days.

Majors was arrested on March 25, 2023, after his former partner, Grace Jabbari, accused him of assault during a taxi ride. The lawsuit leveled allegations of assault and harassment against him.

The actor had called 911 stating he'd found his girlfriend injured in their apartment. Police officers promptly arrested Majors after discovering injuries on Jabbari, including a laceration behind her ear.

Deadline reported that the charges against Majors were brought by the state of New York, not by Jabbari. As a result, it was a criminal trial rather than a civil one.

The 34-year-old actor, recognized for his roles in the "Loki" TV series and the film "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," will have his sentencing in February 2024. The consensus among Western Media regarding Majors's case is that his career in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has likely come to an end.
