Despite the current season favoring more understated, expressive nail colors like burgundy, cinnamon brown, and olive green, beauty salons continue to receive niche requests. Fee, a nail stylist from the Netherlands, reveals these controversial trends on her TikTok profile.

Nail Stylist Shares Insights on Worst Trends

While some women prefer do-it-yourself manicures, others rely on the expertise of professionals for near-perfect results. Paying premium prices, these customers often have particular or bizarre requests that manicurists categorize as "worst trends".

Nail stylist Fee from the Netherlands shared her most disliked customer requests in a TikTok video. The most notable are nails with a "duck" shape and "bubblegum," which refers to massive and round styled nails, curved and pointed in appearance.

"These are the trends that I hate. No apologies" - she stated in her video.

Opinions Are Divided

With nine million views and over 5,000 comments, Fee's TikTok video sparked considerable interest. However, it also resulted in split opinions. Some users believe that trends like "duck nails" or "bubblegum" nails are attractive and that professionals should not be overly critical.

Comments like "I knew I'd find duck nails here", "I don't understand what's wrong with duck nails, some of them are cute", and "Why doesn't someone ban these types of nails?" are seen in the video.
