The playoffs for the title defending Champions League champions start tomorrow. Is this going to be a smooth sale to effortless victory?

Manchester City struggles in the Premier League

Manchester City had some problems this season in the Premier League. They lost, due to injuries, their two biggest stars and key players - Kevin DeBruyne (considered by many to be the greatest midfielder in the world) and Erling Halaand (the new young god of football who in his first season beat the Premier League record for the number of goals scored in a single season).

They also struggled with the defense. Although they still were scoring an incredible number of goals, they had some problems in the back. City were very often losing many goals and they have not seemed to be as unbeatable as before.

Due to those issues, Manchester City lost they first place in the Premier League standings.

The glorious return of KDB

This all changed just a few weeks ago with the astonishing return of Kevin DeBruyne in the match versus Newcastle. He saved his team, which seemed to be almost afraid of their opponents, by scoring an unbelievable goal from a distance. Then he made an almost otherworldy pass, allowing Manchester City to score a game-winning goal in the last seconds of the match. From this point on, City seemed to be on track to return to last season's glory, and they regained their first place in the Premier League standings.

Match with Copenhagen - pure formality ?

No one, except for Danish fans, seems to believe anything can go wrong for the defending champions. They have got both Halaand and DeBruyne now ready to play. The levels of the two teams seem incomparable, but the Champions League has had more immense sensations in the past. Let's wait and see what happens tomorrow.
