Hazelnut cake
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe bananas
- about 8 oz hazelnuts
- 2 eggs
- 12 oz all-purpose flour
- 3.5 oz butter
- 5 oz sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 package of vanilla sugar
Preparation method:
- Crack the eggs and mix with vanilla sugar and half of the white sugar.
- Peel the bananas, cut them into smaller pieces, and add them to the above mixture.
- Mix again. Reduce speed and gradually add the flour. Finally, add the baking powder.
- Chop the nuts, but not too finely.
- In a pan, heat the butter, add the sugar, and stir until the mixture caramelizes. Now, add the chopped hazelnuts. Keep the pan on a little longer, then remove from the heat.
- Line a baking form with parchment paper. Pour half of the prepared batter into it. Add a layer of caramelized nuts, batter again, and nuts again.
- Place the form in the oven, set to 350°F, and bake for about 40 minutes. The hazelnut cake will be ready after this time. Enjoy!
