No-bake cakes are one of my culinary obsessions. They're easy to prepare, delicious, and usually budget-friendly. I cherish every recipe for these kinds of treats and store them in a special collection. Going through my recipe files is always a delight.

Today, I'd like to share a recipe for one of the fastest no-bake cakes I have ever come across. Despite its quick preparation time, you need not worry about the taste. Its flavor is simply wonderful. If it weren't for the pudding cooling process, it would take even less time to prepare. Set your timer and see for yourself, and don't forget to let me know how long it took you to prepare this delectable dessert!

Ingredients:

  • 2.11 cups of milk,
  • 1.76 ounces of butter,
  • 2 packages of vanilla pudding,
  • a large package of biscuits (About 20-25 biscuits should suffice).

Preparation method:

  1. Line a baking dish (roughly 7.87 inches x 5.51 inches in size) with baking paper. Arrange a first layer of biscuits at the bottom.
  2. Mix 0.63 cups of milk with the vanilla pudding mix. Pour the remaining milk into a saucepan and heat.
  3. Once the milk begins to boil, pour in the pudding mixture. Continue cooking until it thickens. Then cover it with plastic wrap and let it cool.
  4. Once just warm to the touch, blend the mixture with the cold butter. Pour this cream over the arranged layer of biscuits. Spread it evenly and smooth out the top. Now, arrange a second layer of biscuits on top.
  5. Your no-bake cake is nearly ready. All that's left to do is put it in the fridge and wait for it to set. In just about an hour, your dessert should be ready to serve. Enjoy!
