What does fall remind you of? For me, pumpkin immediately comes to mind. And it's not just about the rapidly approaching Halloween, but also a whole lot of tasty recipes with it. We can mention the brilliant pumpkin cream or the phenomenal pumpkin donuts. You can find all these recipes on Delicacies.
In today's recipe, pumpkin will also appear, but in a slightly different form. How? Well, from a few simple ingredients, you will conjure up amazing snacks that will look like mini pumpkins. You can't miss something like this!
Mini pumpkin snacks delight with both taste and appearance. You can make them in the blink of an eye!
Ingredients:
- 1.1 lbs of fatty cottage cheese,
- 3.5 oz of shredded cheddar,
- 1/3 cup of fresh chives,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper,
- 2.1 oz of bell pepper chips,
- 2.1 oz of onion chips,
- 2.1 oz of bbq nachos,
- 6 whole almonds,
- thyme for decoration.
Method of preparation:
Step 1. I start working on the adorable snacks by crumbling the cottage cheese. This can easily be done with the help of a blender. Then, I add grated cheddar into the bowl.
Step 2. Next, I add finely chopped fresh chives and spices to the bowl. I mix the ingredients thoroughly to create the perfect flavor combination. For this purpose, I use an ordinary tablespoon.
Step 3. Next, using an ice cream scoop, I scoop part of the resulting stuffing and form a perfect ball with my hands. All such elements I place on a kitchen board, and then put them in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
Step 4. In the meantime, I prepare a'la breadcrumbs for the "pumpkin". For this purpose, I crumble in separate bowls: bell pepper chips, onion chips, and BBQ nachos. After an hour, I take the cheesy balls out of the refrigerator and roll them in breadcrumbs. Of course, each ball goes only into one bowl with crumbled snacks. In this way, I manage to get three different flavors.
Step 5. Then, I arrange each little ball back on the cutting board. I take a piece of string in my hand and press it down on the cheesy treats - in such a way as to give them the shape of a pumpkin.
Step 6. Finally, decorate each such mini pumpkin with almonds and thyme. Enjoy!
