Macron emphasized his openness to deepening cooperation with European partners in the field of nuclear deterrence.

Macron also noted that there is no need to fear discussing nuclear weapons. He stated that France's nuclear doctrine remains unchanged.

Ceasefire, but not on the front. Macron presented an unusual idea

In the same interview, Macron proposed introducing a partial ceasefire in Ukraine, which would last for one month. During this time, peace talks would take place.

The politician clarified that the ceasefire would only cover attacks on strategic infrastructure in Ukraine. It would not cover ground fighting along the front line. - In the event of a ceasefire, it would be very difficult to verify that the front is being respected, Macron argues.
