M2 Bradley changes the battlefield in Kursk clash
During a battle in the Kursk region, Ukrainian forces utilized the M2 Bradley, prompting Russian soldiers and war correspondents, seeing no other chance for survival, to take cover in the basement of a nearby church. The M2 Bradley is one of the most valuable NATO vehicles supplied to Ukraine by the United States and has proven effective even on Russian territory.
According to Forbes analyst David Axe, the area around the church in Pogrebki became the scene of a significant battle in the Kursk region. This occurred in early January 2025. Clashes between Ukrainian and Russian forces lasted almost the entire day and involved, among other equipment, the aforementioned M2 Bradley, likely part of the Ukrainian 47th Mechanized Brigade.

The range of this weapon is about 1.2 miles, but its rate of fire, reaching 200 rounds per minute, is also significant. Additionally, the M2 Bradley crew has at their disposal a 7.62 mm caliber machine gun and a dual launcher for TOW anti-tank missiles, designed for engaging enemy armored equipment at distances of up to just under 2.5 miles.
The M2 Bradley is known for being a vehicle that saves Ukrainian lives due to its superior armor, which provides a high level of protection to the crew inside, which encourages bold offensive operations. There have been successful engagements by the M2 Bradley not only against transporters and IFVs but even against Russian tanks, including the top-tier T-90M Proryv.
