In one of TikTok videos, Maitlyn chose to share some details from her romantic life. She admitted that her boyfriend had an affair with another man and then acted as if nothing had happened for the succeeding six months.

Upon uncovering the infidelity, Maitlyn's first reaction was relief. She had suspected her partner was hiding something due to some inconsistencies. Learning the truth gave her a sense of relief.

Maitlyn clarified that when she confronted her partner about his infidelity, he initially denied it. However, he owned up, sending her a long message a few hours later.

Maitlyn revealed that the guilt began to take a toll on him. Even though the exposure of the unfaithfulness was devastating, she thanked her partner for his honesty. Moreover, he revealed that he had begun to identify as bisexual.
