Love can be blind and unpredictable, making us overlook flaws and differences that might otherwise cause friction. Guided by the heart, we sometimes end up in places the mind wouldn't necessarily go.

Instead of being rational, we often let emotions cloud our judgment, idealizing our loved ones. This blindness can be beautiful, as it allows for unconditional love, but it can also be dangerous when it obscures the truth. Strong emotions can lead to inappropriate behavior.

He stole cosmetics out of love

A video on TikTok shocked internet users when a man boasted about his irresponsible behavior. The lovestruck user stole cosmetics from an upscale store for his girlfriend. A police car arrived at his house, and officers searched his belongings, handcuffed him, and led him away.

The man was quite lucky. A few days later, he posted another TikTok claiming he was allowed to keep all the cosmetics. In the comments, he assured viewers that the charges were dismissed.

Are girls charmed by the thief?

An animated discussion erupted online about whether his behavior was foolish or romantic. Many girls admitted they would like their partners to behave similarly: "I want someone like this," "my type," "I don't know, I like it. Even though he couldn't afford it, he made an effort. Even if he got arrested, he wanted to do something nice for me and knew the risk."
