Logan Paul, the American internet sensation, first ventured into the ring in 2018. His initial amateur fight with rapper KSI resulted in a draw, but when they squared off again in a professional setting a year later, the musician emerged victorious.
The YouTuber later faced off against Floyd Mayweather Jr. The match at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium was non-scoring and purely an exhibition event.
Paul's most recent adversary was Dillon Danis. The ex-Bellator MMA athlete (who had fought two matches for them - editor's note) was disqualified in the sixth round for attempting to knock down his rival and perform a lever on him.
Barely a month after defeating Danis, Paul took everyone by surprise. He announced his retirement from boxing, saying, "There is no more money in boxing".
Paul has now challenged WWE icon Rey Mysterio. Impressively, Paul managed to defeat the wrestling champ. Following this victory, he also claimed the United States championship title of the WWE. Paul has expressed his desire to continue his career in wrestling.
"I think I've retired from boxing. I've done enough. Now, I'll be a wrestler," explained Logan Paul in an interview with Fox Business magazine.
"It's an amazing feeling. I dominated my opponent. There were a few 'slaps', some hits. Now, I need to defend this belt. There will be contenders coming after me. Anyone who's up to it, can take the challenge. I have a lot of things to do in the WWE," he announced after defeating Rey Mysterio.
