Lizzo, the American music star known for hits like "Good as Hell" and "Truth Hurts," surprised her fans with a revelation about changes in her diet.

Lizzo, who was once a vegan, decided to include meat in her diet, which she claims has helped her achieve a significant improvement in her well-being and lose weight. In a video posted on Instagram, the artist talked about her new way of eating.

Why did Lizzo change her diet?

The artist starts her day with lemon water and eggs, cauliflower pancakes, and fruit. During the day, she enjoys okra water, followed by a chicken wrap with a generous amount of mustard. Lizzo also makes homemade peach tea. She ends her day with a meal of grilled chicken, carrots, and asparagus.

Lizzo explained that the decision to return to meat came during her trip to Japan. "When I arrived in Japan, I was delighted by how clean and delicious the food was there. I enjoyed fresh sushi and delicious eggs and was amazed at how good I felt the next day," she confessed.

Lizzo concluded that animal protein improves her energy levels and aids in weight loss. "It's a diet that helped me achieve my goals and made me feel good in my own body," she added.

Veganism still in the plans?

Even though Lizzo currently follows a diet with animal protein, she still believes that a vegan diet is the healthiest. "I still think veganism is the healthiest diet you can follow," she explains.

She declares that in the future she wants to become a "raw alkaline vegan." An alkaline diet, based on plant products, aims to create an alkaline environment in the body, which means maintaining an internal pH level of 8 or higher. Although experts warn that there is no evidence of the health benefits of an alkaline diet, Lizzo is still considering such a change.

The artist concluded the video by saying, "The most important thing is for you to be happy, and if you are happy, I am happy too." She encouraged her fans, "Do what's best for you at any moment in life."
