Messi was so captivated by the vehicle that he placed a winning bid during the auction. The final price was 32.1 million euros, with rumors suggesting that Messi outbid Cristiano Ronaldo, among others, for the car.

It is a Ferrari model which had only four units produced. The model that Messi purchased obtained sixth place in a 12-hour race in Sebring and secured second place in the legendary Mille Miglia race. Distinguished drivers Peter Collins and Maurice Trintignant participated in the first race, while the second saw Wolfgang von Tripsa behind the wheel.

The Ferrari 335 S achieved even more incredible feats after it underwent engine enhancements. This vehicle set a lap record at Le Mans and also claimed victory in the Cuba Grand Prix, with renowned driver Stirling Moss at the helm.
