The shock waves surrounding the tragic death of Liam Payne continue. On October 16, news of the passing of the former One Direction member, who fell from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, spread worldwide. The funeral ceremony took place just a few days ago. The body of the 31-year-old was laid to rest in the British town of Amersham. Well-known personalities attended the final farewell.
The sudden death of the artist is a huge blow to his fans and family. Over the past weeks, more details about the unfortunate accident have come to light. Although it might seem that everything has been written about the circumstances of Liam Payne's sudden death, shocking new findings and reports continue to emerge online.
Did Liam Payne try to escape from the hotel? Shocking information revealed
Recently, a photo of the star taken just minutes before his death, sourced from hotel surveillance, surfaced in the media. It shows a group of men carrying Liam into a room. According to TMZ, Liam was moved and locked inside the room. As reported, he revealed to one of the staff members that he didn’t want to be locked in and planned to escape via the balcony. A transcript of the staff's conversation with emergency services was also released.
I don’t know if his life might be in danger. He’s in a room with a balcony and, well, we are a bit scared, said a hotel employee quoted by TMZ.
According to the police report cited by TMZ, a brown leather bag with a note saying "for Liam" was found on the lower floor's balcony, indicating that the singer intended to escape from the locked hotel room. TMZ pointed out that a small bag was reportedly found next to the body, which the star didn’t have in the photo taken just before being escorted to his room. It was emphasized that despite his condition visible in the photo, Payne must have been "clearly conscious" when stepping onto the balcony.
Liam has escaped similarly in the past. In September in Florida, a security guard feared the artist might have been high, so he locked him in a room. He escaped from a rented house using a garden hose at that time.
