The artist died on October 16, 2024, after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Argentina. Toxicology tests showed that he was under the influence of multiple psychoactive substances, which could have affected his behavior before his death. The Argentine prosecutor stated that "Liam Payne did not commit suicide." In connection with his death, three people have been charged. Among them was Payne's friend, Rogelio "Roger" Nores, who was accused of "abandoning" the musician before his death. Alleged dealer of Liam Payne breaks silence
Argentine waiter Braian Nahuel Paiz, who is suspected in the ongoing investigation of being Liam's dealer, admitted that before the tragic incident on October 16, he met with the 31-year-old star twice at the hotel. During an interview on Argentine television, the 24-year-old said that he first met Payne at the restaurant where he worked. The singer reportedly visited there for dinner with his girlfriend and two other people.
I never supplied Liam with drugs. Liam's first contact with me was at my place of work. We swapped details and saw each other later that night. It was all normal. He came down from his hotel room to fetch me because I had got lost - he explained.

Braian also revealed that Liam was communicating with him via a secret Instagram account. The suspect admitted that the authorities searched his home, but he has not yet been questioned by investigators. He then described what his meetings with the musician were like.
We got together there and he showed me some of the music he was going to bring out. I've heard people saying he was taking drugs but the truth is that when he got to the restaurant where I was working he was already under the effects of drugs and he didn't actually eat anything - the 24-year-old said.
The Argentine waiter stated that when he met with Liam for the second time, the singer allegedly used cocaine. Braian also admitted that he was smoking marijuana at the time.
We took drugs together but I never took drugs to him or accepted any money - he emphasized.
