On Saturday evening, an air force report highlighted the threat of Russian drone attacks in the Zaporizhzhia region. An unmanned aircraft was also spotted near the border of the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions, triggering an air alert.
Soon after, reports of attacks directed at Kyiv surfaced. Explosions were heard in the vicinity of Kyiv. "Kyiv suburbs are on air defense. The danger is still present," read the statement.
The authorities have urged residents to seek shelter, announcing: "There's an air raid in Kyiv! Everyone is advised to seek immediate refuge in a shelter!"
Explosions have also been reported in the occupied Makeyevka in the Donetsk region, leading to power outages in several city areas.
