Olga Stefanishyna stated that the cyberattack led to the temporary suspension of the Unified Register and the State Register, which are under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

It has been established that the attack was organized by Russian hackers, and its goal was to disrupt the functioning of key national services.

"Now, together with our team and specialists from other services, we are coordinating efforts to repel the cyberattack and restore the operation of the systems. It is already known that the attack was carried out by Russians to disrupt the functioning of the critically important state infrastructure," the minister said in a statement.

Hackers struck. Mitigation will take two weeks

"We are keeping the situation under control and doing everything necessary to restore the functionality of all services as soon as possible," she added, stating that the estimated time to mitigate the effects of the attack is about two weeks.

A statement on this matter was also published online by the group of hackers who carried out the attack. They claim to have stolen and deleted over a billion rows of data, including data stored in backups in Poland.
