Lamborghini has confirmed that it will fill the void left by the Huracán with a successor slated for a 2024 reveal, offering enthusiasts a glimpse into the future of its lineup.

For a decade, the Lamborghini Huracán remained a strong presence in the market, culminating in a farewell by releasing a limited-edition series, STJ, limited to just 10 units. As 2024 approaches, anticipation builds for the successor, with rumors and details beginning to crystallize, promising a grand unveiling in August 2024.

The introduction of a new powertrain will bring about a pivotal change. The revered, naturally aspirated V10, shared with the now-defunct Audi R8, will bid farewell, making way for advanced hybrid technology.

Insight from Federico Foschini, the brand's sales and marketing manager, reveals that Lamborghini will boast a plug-in hybrid system anchored by a V8 engine. This leap towards hybridization, influenced by technologies seen in the Lamborghini Urus SE, marks a significant shift towards blending performance with environmental consideration.

In keeping with tradition, the new model's name has garnered attention following new entries in the European Union Intellectual Property Office. Reports from "La Tercera," a Chilean newspaper, highlight Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A.'s reservation of the name "Temerario," along with a potential logo in early April 2024.

The brand's historical penchant for Spanish bull names continues, with "Temerario," a bull celebrated for its pardon at a San Marcos event in Mexico in 2023, poised to symbolize the daring spirit of Lamborghini's next chapter.
