25-year-old Kylian Mbappe signed the contract on Tuesday (July 16) and was presented as a Real Madrid player at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
The French representative signed a contract with the Royal team until 2029 (for five seasons). According to the portal "Capology," Mbappe ranks third among the highest-paid players in the Spanish La Liga for the 2025/26 season, earning approximately $34 million gross annually (referring to the base salary).
Spanish journalists emphasize that Mbappe will also receive €110-132 million as a signing bonus (paid in five installments) during the five-year contract period and retain up to 80% of the revenue from his image rights.
Mbappe had a very weak Euro 2024. The star was clearly exhausted from the previous season, both physically and mentally.
The Frenchman was presented on July 16 at Santiago Bernabeu, after which he went on a well-deserved vacation. He has not disclosed his vacation destination, but on social media, we can see that he is training on his own for the new season.
When will Mbappe debut for Real?
The Frenchman is not participating in Real Madrid's pre-season tour in the United States. He is expected to debut for the Royals in the UEFA Super Cup match on August 14. The opponent will be Atalanta Bergamo.
