Kremlin propagandist sparks outrage with 'Russian empire' claims
Finland, Warsaw, the Baltic countries, and Moldova "should be returned to the Russian Empire," stated Vladimir Solovyov, a leading Kremlin propagandist. On air, he argued that these are strategic goals for Russia's security. This is yet another provocation by the Russians.
Many of the reports shared by Russian media and government representatives are likely not true. Such reports could be part of an information warfare strategy by the Russian Federation.
It is not the first time that Vladimir Solovyov, a pro-Kremlin journalist, propagandist, and Putin's ally, has targeted Europe, including Poland, on the Rossiya 1 state channel.
A video clip from Solovyov's program was posted on Twitter by Anton Gerashchenko, an advisor to Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs.
- We need strategic security. To this end, it would obviously be good to reach Transnistria to cut Ukraine off from the Black Sea. It is important for us that this territory poses no threat to us in any form. And not just that. This also applies to the Baltic states and Poland - said Putin's chief propagandist, Vladimir Solovyov, on his program.
According to him, Finland, Warsaw, the Baltic countries, and Moldova should be "returned to the Russian Empire."
The Kremlin propagandist outdid himself. "The Western establishment should pray to Putin"
The Russian propagandist is known for many similar appearances and statements. As a presenter on the state channel Rossiya 1, he often speaks about the war in Ukraine, supporting Moscow's actions.
Not long ago, Solovyov advised the West to "pray to Putin."
- We can establish a peacekeeping headquarters on islands, if there are any, that were under the control of the British colonial, repugnant government. It all depends on how much they realize the power of our armed forces. The entire crazy political Western establishment should pray to Putin and his patience - thundered Solovyov on air.
