U.S. President Donald Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia is independent of any potential meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was communicated by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, who stated that there are currently no such plans in place, according to a report by "Kommersant."

On April 1, White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt announced that Donald Trump will travel to Saudi Arabia in May.

This trip marks his first international engagement after the start of his second term. Although there has been speculation about Saudi Arabia being a possible venue for a Trump-Putin meeting, the Kremlin dismisses such notions.

According to a source from Axios, the main goal of Trump's visit is to strengthen relations with Gulf countries and address conflicts in the Middle East. While the White House has not detailed specific objectives for the visit, it is known that Russian and American delegations have already engaged in discussions in Saudi Arabia.
