Buckingham Palace confirmed on Friday morning that King Charles III was admitted to a London hospital for treatment. Including the quote, "The king was admitted to the hospital this morning for a scheduled treatment," in their announcement.

"His Royal Highness is grateful for all the wishes received over the past week. He is glad that his diagnosis is prompting greater health awareness within the public," read the official statement.

What's the current condition of King Charles III?

In a previous statement, the Palace shared that "King Charles III, like thousands of other men each year, sought treatment for an enlarged prostate."

"The issue faced by His Royal Highness is mild and he will be attending the hospital for process correction in the coming week," was the reported information.
