Kim Jong Un's security detail has begun using limousines equipped with systems to jam external communications and devices capable of detecting incoming drones. South Korean lawmakers discussed these new security measures during a meeting of the parliamentary intelligence committee.

Additionally, the analysis indicates that Kim Jong Un has significantly increased his public appearances in recent months. This year, he has made 110 public appearances—60 percent more than in the entire previous year.

Reports of other significant changes in Pyongyang have also emerged. According to South Korean news agency Yonhap, the regime has started moving away from the calendar that counted years from the birth of Kim Il-sung—the grandfather of the current dictator. This change is believed to demonstrate an intent to strengthen Kim Jong Un's position as the sole leader of the nation.

North Korea aligns with Russia

Information about changes surrounding Kim Jong Un coincided with reports of North Korean soldiers who are soon expected to be on the front in Ukraine.

The soldiers are set to support the Russian army. Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelensky, warned that sending North Korean soldiers to the front could be "the first step toward a world war" and appealed to the West for a decisive response.
