Fish is an ideal meal for those observing a fast. Fillets from popular types of fish are readily available in almost all supermarkets. Occasionally, you can even find them at a significantly reduced, promotional price if you pay close attention.

Moreover, the addition of any vegetables transforms the fish into a complete and light meal. If you choose to bake the fish in an oven instead of frying it in oil, your dinner will be both healthy and easily digestible.

Ingredients required for baked fish with vegetables:

  • 4 fillets of any fish
  • Half a broccoli or a few pieces of frozen florets
  • One carrot
  • Half a can of peas
  • Parsley
  • Oil
  • Salt

How to prepare baked fish with vegetables:

  • First, thaw the fillets, then sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides. After seasoning, cover the fish with foil and place it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
  • Peel and cut fresh vegetables into sticks. Briefly immerse the frozen ones in boiling water, then drain them using a colander. Similarly, drain the peas. If you like, you can also add onion cut in half and charred over the gas.
  • Next, grease an ovenproof dish with oil and arrange the fillets and vegetables on it. If you don't have an ovenproof dish, you can simply line a regular baking sheet with aluminum foil and place the fish and vegetables on it. Bake everything at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
