Fatty meats, sauerkraut stews, cheesecake, and a multitude of unhealthy snacks—our stomachs have had a challenging time over the past month. These hard-to-digest dishes can accumulate in our intestines, causing our digestion and metabolism to sputter. It's only natural to feel sluggish and lethargic. But it doesn't have to stay that way. A New Year's detox can aid in eliminating intestinal deposits, parasites, and extra weight.

How to identify parasitic infestations in our body?

As children, we generally encountered pinworms, parasites once deemed a disease of dirty hands. A simple moment of play was sometimes enough to bring them into our lives. However, pinworms aren't the only parasites that can invade our bodies. Pet owners, especially of dogs and cats, would attest to this. Sooner or later, our pets may inadvertently introduce unwanted diseases into our homes.

How can we know if parasites have invaded our bodies? Signs may include feeling nervous, tired, experiencing intense nausea and stomach pain. Weight loss is also probable as parasites consume our food. However, don't misconstrue this as a fortunate dieting incident. This is a severe health risk. If you suspect a parasitic infestation, consult your doctor immediately. A health specialist will recommend tests and, if required, deworming medication. Your health should stabilize the deworming process.

A homemade detox drink can help eliminate parasites

Fatty, salty, and sweet dishes contribute to the proliferation of parasites. Unhealthy food accumulates in the intestines, forming thick deposits that hinder digestion and excretion. This is why nutrition experts often suggest a brief detoxifying diet after the New Year, aimed at eliminating intestinal deposits and purging the body of toxins.

However, a lack of time or enthusiasm can act as a deterrent. But there's an alternate solution—a homemade detoxifying drink. Composed exclusively of natural and readily available ingredients, this drink will make you feel noticeably different after seven days. So, how do you make it?

Combine half a tablespoon each of powdered ginger, turmeric, and Ceylon cinnamon in a tall glass. Add a spoonful of honey to these spices, then pour warm (not hot) water. Consume this concoction immediately after preparation. In a week, you'll have expelled toxins and parasites.
