Kevin Costner exits 'Yellowstone' ahead of final episodes

"I love this show, and I know you love it too. I just wanted to inform you that I will not be returning," Kevin said in a short video posted on Instagram.
With this, Costner cut off speculations that had been circulating for a long time. There had been talk that he might reconcile with the producers of "Yellowstone" and return to the hit show's set. The main reason for his decision was said to be financial problems, stemming from the fact that the actor invested his life savings into making the film "Horizon," which has little chance of recouping its costs.
Fans did not hide their grief and disappointment. The post received numerous comments, with many saying that they watched the series only because of Costner and that his announcement broke their hearts.
The phenomenon of the series
Let us remind you that it was for the film he directed, "Horizon," that Kevin gave up the role of John Dutton just before the final episodes started filming. "Yellowstone" is a story about a family of ranchers led by the character played by Costner. The Duttons fight not only amongst themselves but also with ruthless developers and the native inhabitants of the reservation.
The series has had 5 seasons (the final episodes are currently in production) and numerous spin-offs. It will soon be available on TVN.
The finale of the hit show is set to debut on SkyShowtime on November 14 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time.
