The American artist has shed considerable weight and attributed this achievement to following a diet recommended by her doctor and incorporating lots of walking into her routine. However, recent revelations show that she was not entirely truthful about her methods a few months ago.

"I eat a healthy mix. I dropped weight because I’ve been listening to my doctor — a couple years," she said. "And 90 percent of the time I’m really good at it because a protein diet is good for me anyway. I’m a Texas girl, so I like meat — sorry, vegetarians in the world!" - Kelly Clarkson confided to "People" magazine at the start of the year.

On her show, "The Kelly Clarkson Show," the star hosted Whoopi Goldberg, who has also experienced weight loss. Clarkson revealed her success partly owed to a certain medication that assists in sugar breakdown, a task her body struggles with naturally.

"My doctor chased me for like two years and I was like, ‘no, I’m afraid of it. I already have thyroid problems" Clarkson shared, "Everybody thinks it’s Ozempic, it’s not, it’s something else." she added with a hint of mystery.
