Their paths first crossed in 2009. Keanu Reeves needs no introduction. Alexandra Grant studied at Swarthmore College and earned a degree in art history. She is a painter, performer, and visual artist. She collaborated with the Hollywood star while preparing illustrations for his books: "Ode to Happiness" and "Shadows." She also photographed the actor during the filming of "John Wick."
Deeper feelings between Grant and Reeves developed only after a few years of acquaintance. They showed up together in public for the first time in June 2019, at the presentation of the Saint Laurent collection. They quickly became a favorite Hollywood couple.
They are indeed hard not to like. They are always smiling, cordial, and open. They generate enormous sympathy from journalists and photographers, as well as from viewers who especially appreciate their naturalness. During this past weekend, Alexandra Grant and Keanu Reeves were the guests of honor at the Grand Prix MotoGP Liqui Moly Motorrad motorcycle races in Germany. In the photos, you can see them waving the characteristic checkered flag.
"She loves cooking him meals at home and they both love film and books. They actually have a little book club just the two of them where they read each other's favorites," we read in "US Weekly," which quoted its source.
For many years, Keanu Reeves did not appear publicly with women and usually posed solo or in large groups, for example, at film premieres. This was related to a traumatic love story. Reeves' partner, Jennifer Syme, gave birth to a stillborn child in 1999. Both were deeply affected, but Syme couldn't recover from the tragedy. She fell into a deep depression. Two years later, she died in a car accident.
