Kanye West takes on footwear industry with a controversial $200 shoe-sock hybrid
Known as one of the greatest rappers of the 21st century, Kanye West is also recognized as a fashion designer and an exceptionally contentious personality. West's openly antisemitic views and support for Donald Trump are well-known. It was these aspects of his worldview that contributed to the termination of his cooperation with Adidas, a brand he had previously partnered with to release the Yeezy line. Regardless, West seems undeterred.

Kanye West introduces revolutionary new shoes
In a new venture, Kanye West has begun a collaboration with Russian fashion designer Gosha Rubchinskiy. This partnership spearheads the launch of West's new fashion line. The first product in the line, shoes that strikingly resemble knee-high socks, are now available for pre-order.
Priced at $200, or approximately 800 zlotys, the YZY POD hasn't been well-received by the artist's fanbase. One fan pointed out West is barefoot in a promotional photo for the new shoes. Critics assert that the shoe socks are not worth the price. However, considering the buying habits of collectors, the YZY POD may very well increase in value shortly, presenting itself as somewhat of an investment opportunity.
