Residents of the United States are currently focused on the upcoming elections, which will soon reveal the new head of state. Kamala Harris is challenging Donald Trump for the presidency, stepping into the race after Joe Biden withdrew from the reelection fight. The campaign is in full swing, filled with significant emotions and controversies that resonate globally in the media.
Tuesday, November 5, is Election Day, the day of this year's presidential elections in the United States. As the campaign reaches its final stretch, Joe Biden's former deputy is rallying support from her powerful connections in show business.
The presidential candidate can count on support from some of the biggest music, film, and sports stars. Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez are among the notable personalities who have not only declared their support for her but also participated in her campaign.
Although Kamala Harris's name is now known to most people globally, not everyone realizes how it should be pronounced. During one of the rallies, the politician's nieces joined actress Kerry Washington on stage to help. Eight-year-old Amara and six-year-old Leela demonstrated an easy way for the audience to correctly articulate their aunt's name.
First, you say "Kama," like a comma in a sentence – said Amara.
Then you say "La," like "la-la-la-la-la" – added her younger sister Leela.
The audience gathered at the stadium followed the girls' instructions and began chanting the politician's name.
