Kamala edges past Trump in key battleground states
According to CNN polls conducted in seven key states, Kamala Harris leads in four of them, while Donald Trump is ahead in two. In Pennsylvania, however, both candidates enjoy equal support. Other polls suggest a slight advantage for Trump ahead of the presidential elections in the USA.
The two latest CNN polls focused on the key southern states show minimal differences between Georgia and North Carolina.
In Georgia with 16 electoral votes, Trump holds a one-percentage-point lead (48-47). Conversely, the situation is the opposite in North Carolina, which also has 16 electoral votes. In both states, the difference falls within the margin of statistical error.
In the remaining five states analyzed by the SSRS center for CNN, the situation is similar, although Harris has a stronger lead in Michigan (15 electoral votes) and Wisconsin (11 votes). Her advantage in these states is 5 and 6 percentage points, respectively. In Pennsylvania (19 votes), a tie is noted. In Arizona (11 votes), Harris leads by 1 percentage point, while in Nevada (6 votes), Trump leads by one point.
If the trends shown by the CNN polls reflected reality, Harris would win the presidency regardless of the result in Pennsylvania.
U.S. elections: polls are not conclusive
However, other studies published in the last 24 hours show a different picture, with an advantage for Trump.
AtlasIntel, a firm known for its rightward leanings, claims that Trump leads in Arizona by 4 percentage points and has a minimal 1 percentage point lead nationwide.
Fox News polls also indicate a one-point lead for Trump in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, along with a tie in Michigan. Studies from Monmouth and Quinnipiac Universities additionally confirm a minimal Trump advantage in this state.
If these results were to be confirmed in reality, Donald Trump would likely regain the presidency.
