'Little rascals' in custody
"All three suspects known as the 'little rascals' are in custody," charged locally with robbery by threat, FBI Houston said on social media.
FBI Houston shared images on Twitter on March 14th, depicting the young individuals dubbed as "little rascals," accused of robbing the Wells Fargo located at 10261 North Freeway. The images captured two suspects clad in hoodies navigating through what seemed to be the bank's reception area.
In its initial statement, the FBI mentioned that the trio exited the bank on foot.
CBS Houston affiliate KHOU reported that the incident occurred shortly after 3 p.m. local time. KHOU also noted that the boys intimidated the bank teller according to the FBI. However, witnesses reported not seeing any weapons. The group departed from the bank carrying an unspecified sum of money.
ABC 13 Houston's report indicated that witnesses informed officials the boys looked to be between 14 and 18 years old and had fled the bank on foot. The amount of money, if any, that the suspects managed to abscond with was not disclosed.
