The Euro 2024 competition concluded on Sunday, July 14. The Spanish and English national teams faced off in the final match, and we now know the final winner of the event, which was held in Germany.
No goals were scored in the first half, but that changed in the second half. Shortly after the game resumed, La Furia Roja took the lead. The opponents later equalized, but ultimately, the Spanish team scored a goal that secured their victory in regular time.
Jordan Henderson watched the European Championship final from the stands. Although it seemed impossible, the former England national team player eventually made it to the German capital.
Due to aeroplane issues, Henderson had to choose an alternative mode of transportation. He decided to rent a bus to get to Berlin with his children.
The "Daily Mail" reported that the 34-year-old needed almost eight hours to arrive in the city where the Euro final was played. However, after the final whistle, he had no reason to be happy, as his fellow countrymen left the field defeated.
Henderson played a total of 81 matches for the England national team, scoring three goals. His last match for the national team was in 2023.
