Jo Koy brings royal humor to Golden Globe Awards - Harry and Meghan steal the spotlight

The Golden Globe Awards ceremony conducted last night took place smoothly without any major controversies. Although comedian Jo Koy, the Master of Ceremonies, couldn't elicit continuous waves of laughter, his witty remarks about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were met with enthusiastic applause.
Harry and Meghan targeted for laughs at the Golden Globe Awards gala
The host used part of the ceremony to joke about the royal family. He humorously linked them to the hit series "Succession".
Jo Koy also set his comedic sights on the leading defectors of the British royal court and his wife.
Harry and Meghan Markle received millions for essentially doing nothing, and we have Netflix to thank for that - he quipped.
The gala attendees immensely enjoyed the host's humor this time around. Regrettably, the royal couple was not in attendance to join the laughter. However, cameras did catch Ted Sarandos, the laughing CEO of the streaming platform. Harry and Meghan's deal with the VOD market giant, which included the production of a documentary about them, is worth nearly 100 million dollars.
