Jill Biden arrived in Paris the day before the official opening of the Summer Olympics. Joe Biden was notably absent, having withdrawn from the presidential race a few days earlier.

Although in his last address, Joe Biden assured that he would conscientiously fulfill his duties until the end of his term, the 81-year-old is clearly not in the best shape. The politician recently battled COVID-19, and he sent his wife to the Paris Olympic Games.
On Thursday, Jill Biden landed in the capital of France. She was seen wearing a white baseball cap and purple pants as she exited the plane and waved cheerfully at the photographers. The First Lady of the United States then met with American track and field athletes and gave a speech. For the meeting with her fellow citizens, she wore a shirt dress with butterflies and high heels, which she later swapped for sneakers.
