Jesse Lingard lost his driver's license when he was caught by the police driving under the influence of alcohol. The former representative of England chose an electric scooter as his new means of transport, but even here, there are problems. In South Korea, he received a fine of around $135.

Jesse Lingard is 31 years old, and this year, he became the hero of an unexpected transfer to a club in Seoul, South Korea. This was surprising because the midfielder's previous career was associated with teams in England. It gradually dwindled, and the athlete signed a lucrative contract in South Korea.

According to British media reports, Jesse Lingard lost his driver's license for one and a half years when he was caught driving under the influence of alcohol by the police in Manchester.

Thus, the footballer had to get used to another means of transportation. In South Korea, he chose an electric scooter, but before hitting the streets of Seoul, he did not read the local regulations. Riding a scooter is permitted for those with a driver's license and must be done while wearing a helmet. Jesse Lingard broke both rules.

The police in South Korea did not go easy on the Englishman and fined him. The fine amounted to $135. The footballer confirmed that such an incident took place and humbly accepted the penalty.

Anyone visiting South Korea should obviously familiarise themselves with the regulations. Otherwise, they may create a hazard. Wearing a helmet is essential. I will not forget about it a second time, he apologised in a post on the social media platform Instagram.

Jesse Lingard's actions made headlines not only in South Korea but also in England. In his home country, he remains a well-known athlete, and it's no wonder. He has played 32 matches for the national team, scoring six goals.
