Fans of "Mayor of Kingstown" eagerly anticipate the show's third season, premiering on June 6 on SkyShowtime. Renner, widely recognized for his role as Hawkeye in the Marvel cinematic universe and his memorable performances in films like "Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation", "New Start", and "Tag", returns to the series.

In a recent interview with The Direct, Michael Beach, Renner's co-star in "Mayor of Kingstown", praised Renner's resilience. "Jeremy is a real warrior. This guy broke 38 bones. He actually died, which I didn't know until he told me himself, and came back to life," Beach revealed.

The accident left Renner uncertain about his future, but he was determined to continue acting once he recovered. "With each week, he feels stronger," Beach noted.

Upon the cast's return to the "Mayor of Kingstown" set, Renner's physical condition did not necessitate any breaks. "He just does it. He's tough as rocks," Beach commented, acknowledging Renner's impressive comeback. Renner is also set to star in a new movie directed by Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly ("Queenpins"), and there's speculation about his return as Hawkeye in the upcoming "Avengers" installment.

Jeremy Renner's life-threatening accident

In January 2023, Jeremy Renner was involved in a horrific accident while helping neighbors clear snow with a private plow. During his attempt to prevent his nephew from being injured, Renner was crushed by the 15,432-pound machine. He suffered extensive injuries, including head, chest, and leg trauma, and over 30 broken bones, leading doctors to describe his condition as critical yet stable.

"I would do it again. Without hesitation, to save my family," Renner expressed in his first interview following the incident.
