The American singer's name appeared in court documents related to the rapper's case, as reported by In Touch Weekly. It turns out that Jennifer Lopez may be called to court to testify during the trial.

Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith, who accused Diddy of assault in 1997, which allegedly took place at the Holiday Inn in Detroit, claims that the singer might possess crucial information about the matter.

"I believe she has vital knowledge regarding the events at that time," the man said, as quoted by Marca.

The trial will begin in May 2025, but new lawsuits are still being filed by others seeking justice in court. Whether Jennifer Lopez will indeed be required to appear in court and testify will be revealed in the near future.
