Jennifer Lopez has been living separately from Ben Affleck since April and has been trying to avoid him. Two weeks ago, the singer took the final step and filed for divorce.

According to media reports, on September 4, Jennifer Lopez was seen leaving Ben Affleck's office with her mother. They were reported to be there around lunchtime. The media said the spouses were probably discussing divorce settlements and assets. Two years ago, they chose not to sign a prenuptial agreement, which could pose a significant problem.

Ben Affleck is not making it easier to resolve divorce issues

A source from OK! reported that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's divorce could be very challenging. According to confidential information, there are certain contentious points regarding the assets, which, according to California state law, include everything acquired during the marriage. For celebrities, this includes a mansion in Beverly Hills valued at $60 million, which was put up for sale this summer.

Jen and Ben have been separated since April, when he asked for space and moved out. Ultimately, the marriage was not fixable, another source states, adding that Affleck shows no interest in resolving the divorce issues.
