Jennifer Aniston's grief: Matthew Perry's death takes heavy toll
An American tabloid reported that Jennifer Aniston's mental health is deteriorating, causing worry among her loved ones. The actress has been heavily affected by the death of her friend, Matthew Perry: "It is the second major loss she has endured in less than a year," said sources.
Jennifer Aniston and Matthew Perry enjoyed an exceptionally close relationship. They knew each other even before their starring roles on the famous TV show "Friends". Interestingly, Aniston's character, Rachel, rejected Perry's character in the show, but they built a friendship that persisted until his untimely death. Aniston was caring enough to confront Perry about his alcohol problem on set and she continued to check up on him throughout this year.
"She was the one who helped me the most. I am really grateful to her," Perry said of Aniston in a 2022 interview with Diane Sawyer.

Perry passed away on October 28 at the age of 54. "Friends" actors paid tribute to their late colleague during a ceremony held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles. The cemetery is situated not far from the Warner Bros Studio where they all worked together for a decade. However, fellow "Friends" cast members, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc, did not attend the burial ceremony.
According to Page Six, Aniston is tremendously affected by her friend's death. Sources reveal that her loved ones are extremely worried about her mental health due to her recent losses. In less than a year, she has not only lost Matthew but also her father, to whom she was very close. It seems Jennifer has not yet come to terms with her father's death, and Perry's passing has further triggered her emotional distress.
Among the remaining five actors, it appears Jennifer and Courteney are the most affected. Jennifer seems to be dealing with it the hardest. [...] With the second major loss in less than a year, she is still grieving her father's death and the sudden news of Perry's death has completely shaken her. Her loved ones are truly concerned," revealed a source.
