Recently, serious allegations were launched against the star of "Django". The accusations pertain to an alleged sexual assault committed by the actor in 2015. Representatives of Jamie Foxx have now responded to the claims by an anonymous woman.

The lawsuit filed against the 55-year-old actor came to light in recent days through the magazine Deadline. The case concerns an incident purportedly occurring eight years ago in a New York bar. Two women approached Foxx requesting a group photo. The star was overly "nice", continuously complimenting one woman's looks and fragrance, comparing her to American model Gabrielle Union. However, the situation escalated from there.

Friend Come to Rescue

Had it not been for her friend's intervention, it is uncertain how the situation might have ended. It is alleged that Foxx led the fan to the rooftop of the bar and touched her inappropriately. She managed to break free from his grasp with the help of her friend.

The woman filed allegations against the star and is seeking financial compensation for physical and psychological injuries. Foxx has responded to these accusations.

"The Incident Never Occurred"

The Deadline continues to closely follow the case. It has now published a brief statement from Foxx's representative, stating, "The alleged incident never occurred. In 2020, this woman filed almost an identical lawsuit in Brooklyn. Shortly thereafter, the case was dismissed," reported the actor's spokesperson on Thursday, November 23, 2023.

"The current allegations against Jamie Foxx are no more valid today than those from the past. We expect them to be dismissed once more. Upon their dismissal, Mr. Foxx plans to file a case for malicious prosecution against this individual and her lawyers for refiling this frivolous suit," announced the star's representative.

Foxx has not personally commented on the allegations. He did, however, post a short video on his Instagram, throwing a football into a distant basketball hoop. In the caption, he mentioned Willie Beamen, a character from Oliver Stone's "Any Given Sunday," a film he was cast in in 1999 along with Al Pacino, James Woods, Cameron Diaz, and Dennis Quaid.
